K-8. The guide is user friendly for Physical Education,
classroom teaching, or for use by students on their own.}

^{OUTLINE ONLY maps are
recommended.}^{These are less expensive but,
more importantly, they offer more opportunities to
stimulate creativity in the learning process. These maps
are especially effective when students use multi-colored
chalk to add rivers, lakes, capitals, etc. The chalk
markings are temporary, allowing the}^{same
or different students to redesign the map time and time
again.}

^{HOW LONG DO THE MAPS LAST?}^{The answer is
based largely on the condition of the surface to which
the map is applied. As surfaces vary so too does the
longevity of a map.}^{Gym
Geography}^{^®}^{uses the same
process and top quality skid-resistant asphalt paint made
specifically for playground surface use. We also
force-air blow all surfaces prior to painting to ensure
maximum paint cohesion.}^{Equally
important}^{is
"location of painted project" which also plays
a major role in map durability. We suggest finding a
paint location that will not be subjected to vehicles
traveling over it or parking on it. An area free from
snow plows, rock salt or any melting compound as these
will severely limit durability if not damage a painted
surface irreparably.}
